AMP Australia were upgrading the older Escalators at the flagship Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, and as part of the works, engaged Donnan to update the escalator cladding to the attractive mirrored glass, as well as the  surrounding Lobbies.

Donnan’s experience in Live Environments came to the fore, with the project completed in time for the busy Christmas trading hours, working night shifts so as no to disrupt the Tenants. The project was particularly challenging as, with the organic growth of the Centre, two retail tenancies had been built into the escalator framing.

The finishes upgrades, as not just to the escalators, but including refreshing the lobby tiling, glazed sliding doors, existing signage and timber bulkheads, were all completed to tie in with the new look of the Centre.
